Differences in Lionheads
Firstly, the manes. Like I said, there is no mane, single, double, and triple manes. No manes... have no manes, and look like a regular rabbit. Single manes have very little mane that may or may not go around the head completely. Double manes have a very full and thick mane that reaches around the head and extends past the shoulders to make a "skirt", leaving the saddle area clean of wool. Triple manes are almost like a angora, just as fuzzy, and don't shed out. Double manes are the ONLY showable type of mane! Your rabbit MUST have a DOUBLE MANE to be shown. Pictures to the right. ->

The many colors!There are many colors to any breed of rabbit. But what are the qualified or preferred color? The most common are points, blacks, fawns, siamese sables, pearls,broken, torts, blues, & agoutis. The rare, but not showable colors are harlequin, & magpies. To the left will be some pictures, you can find most on google.
